The GR YARIS, developed with the World Rally Championship (WRC) in mind, has undergone its first minor model change. The exterior and interior have been redesigned, and the engine power has increased from 272PS to 304PS. In line with Morizo’s desire to “provide driving pleasure to as many people as possible and expand the base of motorsport,” this is the first time the GR Yaris 1.6L inline-three-cylinder turbo engine has been paired with the newly developed 8-speed “GR-DAT” automatic transmission, allowing a wider range of people to enjoy the driving pleasure of the GR YARIS.
