“The last generation to use the 4G63 engine, the Lancer Evolution IX MR GSR, has minimal exterior differences compared to the GSR, but the interior is completely different. The engine has undergone minor improvements, with a re-tuned MIVEC system, turbo fan blades changed to titanium-aluminum alloy, and other subtle enhancements, resulting in improved engine response and faster acceleration. The suspension has also been upgraded, and after re-adjusting the Super AYC 4WD, the cornering ability has been enhanced. These fine adjustments allow it to carry the MR name, representing Mitsubishi Racing, and also serve as the exclusive mark of Mitsubishi’s top sports cars.”
